APG underwrites an up to $7.5M corporate loan to SmartBeemo to finance its pricing strategy pivot

SmartBeemo, an educational technology company based in the USA, and APG, a global investment banking boutique specialising in alternative credit solutions, today announced the closing of a new $7.5 million debt facility. Under the terms of the deal, SmartBeemo is expected to draw down the notional amount over a period of 48 months.

SmartBeemo is an EdTech platform, specialised in E-commerce entrepreneurship, in which individuals can enrol in a course and obtain a certification and join a community. Currently, 53% of users are based in Latin America, while the remainder are Latinos in the US. The users enter a network of like-minded entrepreneurs who have their own e-commerce business. Users will benefit from an advanced and immersive learning experience, participate in events virtually and in-person and access solutions to import products directly from China for dropshipping businesses
